Welcome to the Early Years Department of the AJE who provide a wide scope of programmes and support for all Early Years practitioners in Foundation Stage settings across London, some of which are listed below.

Courses and Services

● NVQ 2 and 3 - National Vocational Qualification in Children's Care, Learning and Development (work place assessed training).

● Professional Development for practitioners (evening courses open to all AJE members) see Professional Development booklet link

● Biennial Early Years Day Conference with stimulating workshops pertinent to Jewish Early Years settings. See Conference link

● Bible Story House Programme - an interactive experience bringing the Bible to life, for young children and their teachers (see BSH link)

● Head Teachers Network termly meetings - a confidential environment for discussing management issues. More information in Professional Development link

● Monthly Newsletter sent to over 60 Nurseries in London.

We also offer confidential advice to Early Years Settings and staff on many issues concerning the working environment, as well as on site visits to support colleagues in the workplace.

The AJE also produces a range of publications for Early Years Practitioners on the Jewish Festivals.

The AJE Teaching and Learning Centre stocks AJE Early Years publications, posters, display materials, other classroom resources and 'Bible Story Sacks' which are available for hire.
